1. Overview & Data Minimization

At FinoQuick, we follow a principle of strict user data minimization. All financial calculations execute client-side directly within your web browser. We do not maintain user accounts, require logins, operate backend calculation databases, or sell your financial numbers to third-party mortgage brokers, lead aggregators, or lending institutions.

2. Browser-Local Storage (Saved & Recent Calculations)

When you save a calculation or view recent calculations, this information is stored locally and exclusively within your web browser's localStorage.

  • Your saved calculations are never uploaded to any server or synchronized to the cloud.
  • Clearing your browser cache, site cookies, or local storage will remove your saved records.
  • Browsing in private or incognito mode will isolate or discard storage upon closing the session.
  • Saved calculations on one device or browser will not automatically transfer to another.

3. Shareable URLs & Public Parameters

When you generate a shareable calculation link, FinoQuick encodes your configured inputs and optional scenario parameters into the URL itself.

Important Transparency Notice: Anyone who receives or clicks a shared calculation link will be able to view the input parameters needed to reproduce that calculation. Shared links are not encrypted, private, or password-protected. We strongly recommend that you do not include sensitive personal information or identifiable details in calculations you intend to share.

4. Analytics & Privacy Guard

We collect minimal aggregate, non-personally identifiable interaction data (such as tool visit counts and general button clicks) to monitor platform health and improve calculation tools.

Our analytics layer enforces a strict privacy guard with both an explicit property allowlist and a financial denylist. User-entered salaries, loan balances, debts, home prices, interest rates, tax calculations, Social Security numbers, and personal identifiers are unconditionally stripped prior to any analytics dispatch. Raw calculation URLs and query strings are never sent to analytics providers.

5. Advertising & Third-Party Partners

When third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) are active, they may use cookies, device identifiers, or web beacons to serve non-intrusive advertisements based on general browsing history. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. Your calculator inputs, numbers, and scenario analyses are processed strictly in your local browser and are never transmitted to or shared with advertising networks.

6. Technical Security Controls

FinoQuick implements technical security controls including encrypted HTTPS transport, Content-Security-Policy (CSP) headers, clickjacking prevention (X-Frame-Options: DENY), MIME-sniffing protection, strict referrer privacy policies, and comprehensive Zod schema input validation. These technical measures provide defense-in-depth but do not constitute legal compliance certifications.
